What are your opening hours?

Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, Saturday 9:30am to 1:00pm, closed Sunday. You can order online 24/7.

How does click & collect work, step by step?

Browse online and add flooring and accessories to your basket, then select Click & Collect at checkout (use code COLLECT for an extra 5% off). Your order is prepared, sometimes ready within an hour. You'll receive an email with your order confirmation and a collection code. Bring the code to the Trafford Park warehouse and the team will help load your vehicle.

What flooring do you recommend for kitchens and bathrooms?

Vinyl flooring is the top pick for wet rooms since it is fully waterproof, warm underfoot, easy to clean and highly moisture resistant, from £7.99/m². Laminate flooring is not suitable for bathrooms but can work in kitchens if spills are wiped up promptly and edges are properly sealed.

Do I need underlay for my flooring?

Underlay is essential for laminate flooring, providing a moisture barrier, reducing impact noise, and often required to validate manufacturer warranty. It's also strongly recommended for carpet to extend its life and improve softness and warmth. Underlay is not recommended for sheet vinyl flooring.

How do I calculate how much flooring I need?

Multiply your room's length by width in metres to get the square meterage, then add 10% for wastage on standard straight-lay patterns, or 15% for herringbone or diagonal layouts. Break irregular rooms into rectangles and add them together.

Do you offer supply and installation or fitting service?

Flooring Cash and Carry is supply-only and does not install flooring, but partner company Floor Express Ltd has trusted local fitters covering Greater Manchester. All laminate and vinyl ranges are designed for DIY installation with click-lock systems, and the team stocks installation tools and offers guidance.

Do you deliver flooring and flooring accessories outside of Manchester?

Yes, delivery is available anywhere in UK mainland. Delivery is free on orders over £495, and charged from £9.95 on orders under that. Most orders dispatch within 1-3 working days, arriving within 2-5 working days of dispatch.

Can I order samples of laminate and carpets before buying?

Yes, samples are available on all stock items including laminate flooring and carpets, either ordered online or collected in person at the warehouse.

Is there a minimum order quantity?

There is no minimum order. Laminate and LVT are sold by the pack, carpet and vinyl by the square metre, and accessories individually, serving everything from a single room replacement to full commercial projects.

What payment methods do you accept?

Online payments accepted include Visa, Mastercard, Amex, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay, all processed securely through Shopify. In-store, credit and debit cards, contactless, and cash are accepted. TradeFloors account holders may be eligible for monthly statement billing.

What is your returns policy?

Unopened products can be returned within 30 days for a full refund in original packaging with proof of purchase. Opened or cut products cannot be returned unless faulty. Faulty or damaged goods must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with photos.
