Carpet isn't made for kitchens or bathrooms, where spills and steam can soak in. For those rooms, vinyl or LVT is the better choice.

Conan Felt Greige 8324 is a loop pile carpet. Loop pile carpets have uncut loops of yarn that create a tough, textured surface that stands up well to busy areas. Loops can be pulled by pet claws, so they're best suited to homes without cats or dogs that scratch.

Why choose it. It's made from polypropylene, a hard-wearing, colourfast fibre that resists most household stains and is easy to clean, making it a practical choice for family homes. A felt back adds comfort and stability, and gives a neat, fray-resistant edge when cut. It's suitable for stairs as well as rooms, so you can carry the same carpet through the whole house.

Sizes and ordering. Sold by the square metre and cut to the length you need from 4m & 5m wide rolls. Choose the width that covers your room with the fewest joins, and add around 10cm on each side for trimming. Remember to add underlay and gripper for a comfortable, long-lasting fit.
