Carpet isn't made for kitchens or bathrooms, where spills and steam can soak in. For those rooms, vinyl or LVT is the better choice.

Sensibility Norland Park is a carpet from Lewis Abbott. Carpet brings warmth, comfort and quiet to any room, and is soft underfoot for the whole family.

Why choose it. Nylon (polyamide) fibre is one of the most resilient carpet fibres, so it recovers well from footfall in busy areas. A fleece adds comfort and stability, and gives a neat, fray-resistant edge when cut. It's rated for extra heavy domestic use. Key features: stain resistant, pet friendly; underfloor heating suitable; tog 1.35.

Sizes and ordering. Sold by the square metre and cut to the length you need from 4m & 5m wide rolls. Choose the width that covers your room with the fewest joins, and add around 10cm on each side for trimming. Remember to add underlay and gripper for a comfortable, long-lasting fit.
