Carpet isn't made for kitchens or bathrooms, where spills and steam can soak in. For those rooms, vinyl or LVT is the better choice.

Stainfree Caress Pink Whisper 22 is a saxony carpet. Saxony carpets have a deep, dense cut pile that feels soft and luxurious underfoot, which makes them a favourite for bedrooms and living rooms where comfort matters most.

Why choose it. A fleece back adds comfort and stability, and gives a neat, fray-resistant edge when cut. It comes with a 10-year guarantee.

Sizes and ordering. Sold by the square metre and cut to the length you need from 4m & 5m wide rolls. Choose the width that covers your room with the fewest joins, and add around 10cm on each side for trimming. Remember to add underlay and gripper for a comfortable, long-lasting fit.

Complete your fit with carpet underlay and gripper and door bars.
