Description
Our 5mm XPS underlay is a great value laminate underlay that comes as rigid boards rather than a roll. XPS (extruded polystyrene) boards help level out small dips and imperfections in the subfloor, giving laminate and wood floors a firmer, more stable base.
Good for spill-prone rooms. XPS is non-absorbent, so it's a good choice for kitchens, hallways and other areas where spillages may occur.
Warmer and quieter. The boards add 2 tog of heat insulation and reduce impact sound by 20dB, so the floor feels warmer and footsteps are quieter.
